Methi Laddu is a traditional Ayurvedic sweet known for its health benefits, especially in relieving joint pain and strengthening the body during winter. Follow this simple, step-by-step guide to prepare these nutrient-rich laddus at home.

Step 1: Preparing the Methi (Fenugreek) Paste

  1. Thoroughly wash the Methi seeds and dry them under the sun using a clean cotton cloth.
  2. Once dried, grind the seeds into a fine powder using a mixer.
  3. Boil ½ liter of milk, then add the ground Methi powder and let it soak for 8-10 hours to reduce bitterness and enhance its nutritional value.

Step 2: Prepping the Dry Ingredients

  1. Chop almonds into small pieces.
  2. Lightly crush black pepper (each piece into 4-5 parts).
  3. Grind cinnamon (dal cheeni) and nutmeg (jai fal) into a fine powder.
  4. Peel and crush cardamom (elaichi) for enhanced aroma and digestion benefits.
